On a recent tasting the 2009 showed liveliness with developing characteristics — aromatics of mulberry, blackberry with underlying bouquet of leather, spice and chocolate. The flavours were rich and dense exhibiting both primary and tertiary fruit flavours — spicy fruitcake and licorice. A medium-bodied style with a long finish. Drinking well now and for next 6 -12 months.
