On a recent tasting by the Poachers Ridge team, the wine is displaying ripe and vibrant aromas of blackcurrants and plum with developing notes of coffee and chocolate. The tannins are wonderfully soft and generous with intense dark fruits of plum, blackcurrant and prune. A medium bodied Cabernet Merlot blend that has a terrific length and is drinking very well now and for the next 6 -12 months.
